TODDLER TIME

A creative caregiver/child experience (for an almost 2-3 year-old on a Wednesday morning from 9:15-10:15 or 10:30-11:30 am.

DAILY ROUTINE

FREE PLAY

Parent and child are encouraged to play and talk together. Play dough, puzzles, easel and paints, blocks and toys are available for the children to use.

LENDING LIBRARY

The children are encouraged to borrow a book each day that Toddler Time is in session. We ask that you return a book before taking another.

CIRCLE TIME

Everyone comes to the rug area to sing our Hello song. Several finger plays are taught. These are short with simple motions and will be repeated for several weeks. The craft for that day will be shown and briefly explained at circle time.

CRAFT AND FREE PLAY

While some children need to play after our circle time, others can start on their craft for the day. Parent and child can work together but we encourage the child to do as much as possible.

CIRCLE AND MOVEMENT

We again gather on the rug. The following materials are used throughout the session: musical instruments, parachute, play equipment, bean bags and songs.
